1.Not researching the pany. Intervieers pay attention to ho appears to have done their research and ho doesn’t. If you go into your intervie not knoing basic facts about the pany, it ill sho. So before your intervie, spend some time brosing the employer’s ebsite. Spend 20 minutes learning enough about them that you’re able to speak intelligently about the ork they do and ho they see themselves.

If you spend a fe minutes reading your intervieer’s LinkedIn profile, you might find out that you both kno Jane Smith, that you ere both in the Peace Corps or that you're both from the same area of Ohio – information you probably ouldn’t otherise have and hich can help create rapport. You also might learn that your intervieer has a special interest or expertise in some particular area of the ork you do, hich you can then be sure to talk about hen you meet.
